ELECTIONS

Bristol PTA announces the newly elected officers for the 2008-2009 year.
Please welcome Angie Nelson as President. Sarah White as Vice-President,
Teri Nosek as Secretary and Theresa Bohr as Treasurer.
Thank you to the 2007-2008 Bristol PTA Officers for their hard work and dedication.

THE MUSIC PROGRAM AT CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL MAY BE THREATENED

Have you heard that the superintendent and board of Central High School are trying to cut all music programs, choral and band, by 20%? To take away a day from them as well as part of the program? If this happens, they will also lose the drama program!

What you can do?

Be informed. Attend the school board meeting on Tuesday, May 6 at 7:00 PM. Unfortunately it is the same night as the Bristol Band concert so we need help for anyone that supports the arts!!! Judy Wang is the president of the choral parents assoc and is organizing huge support. There intent is not for everyone to speak. They want bodies to represent support and she will read a letter on behalf of everyone present.
Any questions about this action support group, please contact Elisa Jeffson or Judy Wang.

REFLECTIONS

Congratulaitons go out to two of the Bristol School Students who submitted their art work to sthe state level of the Wisconsin PTA Relfections. Molly Wang 7th grade and Rae Lynn Niles 6th grade were state winners. Both of these students will be receiving invitations from Wisconinsin PTA to receive their awards at the State convention held in Green Bay April 24-26th. Way to go girls!

Assemblies sponsored and funded by Bristol PTA on April 11.

Character Magic is an exciting assembly program that captures students and takes them on a journey of fun and discovery for students in K-4th Grade.

Prismatic Magic Laser light show was that assembly for the students 5th -8th grade and that was quite the buzz!

Be sure to ask what kids what they thought and give us your feedback.
