Bristol PTA Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser!
This year we raised $8,975!
"Research overwhelmingly demonstrates that parent involvement in children's learning is positively related to achievement. Further, the research shows that the more intensively parents are involved in their children's learning, the more beneficial are the achievement effects. This holds true for all types of parent involvement in children's learning and for all types and ages of students."

PLEASE GET INVOLVED WITH YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION...GET INVOLVED WITH PTA AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship
- To raise the standards of home life
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
- To bring into close relation the home and the school that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the educaton of children and youth
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education

MEMBERSHIP
Bristol PTA invites you to become a member and make a difference in the education and quality of life for all children. Parents, teachers and community working together to help improve a school is what the PTA is all about.
Membership is $5.00 per member.Membership Form
Get Dads Involved!
We are accepting membership for the 2009-2010 school year.
Complete the membership form and send it, along with your dues, to the PTA through your child's teacher. Your membership cards along with our very popular magnetic calendar will be available in August.
We at PTA encourage fathers to get involved in the lives of children. PTA is not a mothers group that just bakes cookies!
According to a study done by the U.S. Department of Education, children are more likely to do well academically and participate in extracurricular activities if their fathers are actively involved. Furthermore, children are less likely to drop out of school or repeat a grade when fathers are around to provide a positive influence in their lives.
