EFFECTS OF PARENT INVOLVEMENT ON STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

"Research overwhelmingly demonstrates that parent involvement in children's learning is positively related to achievement. Further, the research shows that the more intensively parents are involved in their children's learning, the more beneficial are the achievement effects. This holds true for all types of parent involvement in children's learning and for all types and ages of students."

-Based on research from the US Department of Education

PLEASE GET INVOLVED WITH YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION...GET INVOLVED WITH PTA AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Get Dads Involved!
We at PTA encourage fathers to get involved in the lives of children. PTA is not a mothers group that just bakes cookies!
According to a study done by the U.S. Department of Education, children are more likely to do well academically and participate in extracurricular activities if their fathers are actively involved. Furthermore, children are less likely to drop out of school or repeat a grade when fathers are around to provide a positive influence in their lives. Read the rest of this article online
