Who We Are
FRUA-WI is one of 34 regional chapters of the national support group Families for Russian & Ukrainian Adoption. FRUA is an international support network of families who have adopted or are interested in adoption from Eastern Europe. We support the whole life experience and strengthen the families that are created through adoption. FRUA-WI currently has over 200 member families and professionals representing over 300 (adopted and birth) children born in Russia, Ukraine, USA, Bulgaria, Romania, Belarus, Slovakia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, China, Korea and South America. We offer pre-adoptive & post-adoptive education, support and social connections. FRUA-WI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization governed by an elected board.
