Why participate in Join Hands Day?
It's fun and rewarding!
Benefit for youths, learning the value of volunteering and personally making a difference in their own communities.
You'll garner positive media attention for your society/organization and your business as a whole. Members of your community will learn about your society/organization and its good work.
You'll build relationships with other organizations and/or businesses.
You'll increase teamwork, morale and trust among your participants and boost retention.
You'll motivate both youths and adults to become more active in your society/organization.
You'll help to improve your community.
Volunteers will join you to work on specific causes of mutual interest or concern.
The High Court will provide t-shirts for the participants to help promote The Catholic Order of Foresters. Start thinking of someone to Join Hands with and do something good for your church, community and most of all yourself.
Visit their site at www.joinhandsday.org for more information. The website lists many planned activities throughout Wisconsin. Check it out, you could join with these or do something on your own. There are many great ideas listed. All you need to do to get started is contact the Fraternal Department in Naperville and they will send out some information to help your group get organized.
