We come together to share meaningfully and respectfully. Therefore....
- Listen thoughtfully and in a way that honors the speaker and what he/she is sharing. Maintain an open mind and do not criticize other's opinions.
- Share openly and at a level where you feel most comfortable. You always have something to offer the group.
- Be respectful of everyone. Consider waiting to share a second time until others have had an opportunity to share.
- Keep your remarks relevant and and related to the discussion. Try not to digress onto other topics.
- Commit yourself to the highest level of confidentially. What is shared in the group, stays in the group.
- Let silence be a meaningful part of your group discussion process. Let it provide reflective time and a transition between questions.
