Welcome to MOPPETS! It is the goal of MOPPETS to provide a safe, warm and loving environment for all of our little ones. We seek to do this by providing clean, enjoyable play areas that are staffed by caring adults and youth. To help our childcare workers and your children enjoy a MOPS morning, we have childcare policies that need to be followed.

IMPORTANT:

Due to the large amount of children in our MOPPETS program, we ask you bring only your own children. One guest per family is allowed. We have wonderful volunteers to take care of our children and we strive to keep our ratio of childcare workers to children low for the best experience for everyone.

In order to provide the best possible experience for your child(ren), we strongly recommend that you pre-register for the MOPPETS program each and every month. Please try to register your child by the 20th of every month prior to the meeting date. This will ensure that we have enough workers to provide care of your child(ren).

Please arrive in time to settle your children (we suggest 8:20 am). Remember, MOPS for moms begins at 8:30 am. If your child needs you, you will be called out of the MOPS meeting. Please DO NOT check on your child. If your child sees you, he/she may become upset and this causes a difficult situation for the workers and teachers. You will be notified if your child cries consistently for ten minutes or an injury is sustained. If you have concerns about your child during a meeting, have your mentor mom check on him/her.

MOPPETS Check-In

  • Arrive at the church at least by 8:20 am. Two to five years olds are in the Activity Center; infants and toddlers are in the nursery.
  • Inform the worker checking in the children of any detailed special instruction.
  • Each child has a name tag. Please place the tag on the back of your child.
  • Hand your child over the counter or the registration table along with the diaper bag, etc.
  • When returning to pick up your child, return pager (nursery only).
  • Please remember to thank the MOPPETS workers for caring for your child(ren)!
  • Please bring a diaper bag if your child is not toilet trained.
  • Please DO NOT leave your child(ren) unsupervised on the premises.

    Don't Forget!

  • Mark your child's name on EVERYTHING (diaper bag, diapers, sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, formula, etc.)
  • Take your child to the potty before you leave for MOPS.
