MINUTES

Tuesday, September 16, 2008—7:00pm

 

Welcome Attendance: Renate Hoehnen, Valle Moretti, Samuel Lee, Kerry Wendelburg, Pam Proreufsch Manto, Tris Fong, Ben Fong, Lisa Butzen, Mitzy Nevill, Miki Utnehmer, Kim Matus, Julie Kremer and Norma Perez-Weiner

Treasurers Report: Dawn and Bill Brauer

A.      Update of Budget and financial statement.

B.  SmartBoards

 

Approval of Budget for the year 2008-2009. Motioned by Valle Moretti, seconded by Kim Matus.

Unanimous approval of Motion by Valle Moretti to move $6,000.00 towards the purchase of the remaining SmartBoards to fully equipped Hillside’s classrooms: 2 for Kindergarten, 1 first grade and 2 second grades. Motion seconded by Kerry Wendelburg.

 

Principal’s Report:  Julie Kremer

A.     Everyday Math presentation was a success; there will be other presentations coming up that will be announced on the Herald.

B.     Early Release, one more phone remainder will be done due to the newness of the program. However there will be no more remainders after that.

a.      Kathryn Beich:

The fundraiser will run till Sept 22nd.

Pick up date was changed to Wed Oct 22

                        b.  Directories are a work in progress to be completed by October,

      Will investigate other options Culvers, Boston Market

All boxtops collected in 2007-08 will be submitted, some have expired

 

d.      Hillside Hawk-Walk: Jenny Schweinert

Date set for April 26th at 1pm.
