Events Family Dance Mark your calendars now for this new Hillside event! The Family Dance will be held November 6,
2008 in conjunction with the Silent Auction.
Join us Thursday evening 6:30-8:30pm for an evening of fun for the whole
family! Carnival The carnival is a well-attended evening of fun for students, their families and Hillside staff. Games are set up throughout the school and you can grab a bite to eat in the gym/cafeteria. This event is traditionally held in the spring. Come join in the fun! This year’s carnival will be held on March 20, 2009 from 4:30-7:30pm. High Interest Day Students take time off from regular classes to explore different activities and projects. There are many workshops to choose from including art, crafts, music, science, and sports presentations. Kindergarten High Interest Day will be held May 22, 2009, morning, and Grades 1-5 High Interest Day will be held May 15, 2009, afternoon. Skating Parties
All School Skate Night Skate away those long winter blues! Just come on down to Skateland at 1931 E. Main Street in Waukesha and strap on some skates. Skates will be provided or you can bring your own (including rollerblades!) We’ll skate the night away listening to music and just gathering with all of our friends and families. Make sure you are there!!! Look for date and time in the school newsletter. Fifth Grade Event A celebration is planned for June 3rd, 2009 for the fifth grade students graduating from Hillside Elementary. The DARE graduation date and time will be announce later. Registration Fair
Registration for all new and returning Hillside families is held in mid-August each year. Registration packets are available for pick up outside the school office the week before the fair. Forms can then be filled out at home and simply handed in the day of registration. New families are encouraged to contact the chairperson with any questions about Hillside or the registration paperwork. Welcome Back!!! Assemblies The PTO funds and supports school assemblies, which bring presentations of special interest to the students. Look for details and dates in the school newsletter. |
