CHARGES FILED IN JUNEAU COUNTY!
As reported on channel 27, WKOW TV News, Madison(03/23/06).
"Three Juneau County residents face dozens of charges for mistreating animals, and they were the people who were supposed to care for the animals. June Kline, Michelle Ott, and Lynn Rittenhouse ran the now-defunct humane society for Juneau County.
On Tuesday, the Juneau County District Attorney's office filed 48 animal neglect charges against each of three former executive board members. All former board members are scheduled for an initial appearance in Juneau County court on April 17...."

We here at Justice 4 Halfpint want to share some of our favorite recipes for pet treats. After the tainted pet food scare we all need to take charge of what we feed our pets.
The purpose of this page is to share with our fellow animal guardians tried and tested natural and healthy treats. Times are hard and money is short and unlike others we are offering these recipes at no charge.

Jammin Jerky.
2 fl oz blackstrap molasses
1. combine the molasses,garlic and rosemary in a large bowl. Add meat and stir, make sure to cover with the marinade. Let it marinade for 2 hours.
2.Line your baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Lay the marinated strips on the wire rack and brush on the remaining marinade.
3.Cook in a 225 degree preheated oven for 4-5 hours. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Store in a airtight container for up to 5-7 days.
Feline Vita Meal.
2/3 cup small curd cottage chesse
1. mix all ingredients well.
TIP !!!!
Molasses are high in vitamins and minerals.
1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon dried rosemaary
1 lb lamb or venison sliced into strips along the grain with fat removed.
1/4 cup biscuit mix
4-6 chicken livers and hearts, cooked in water, drained and chopped. (amount of chicken used can vary)
2 tablespoons corn oil.(or your choice).
pinch iodize salt. (I substitute garlic powder for the salt.)
2. store in refrigerator in an air tight container.
Just 1 tablespoon of molasses equals the iron content in an average steak.
Molasses is a great way to add natural sweetness to your treats.
