About Attachment Parenting International
Attachment Parenting International (API) is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization whose mission is to promote parenting methods that create strong, healthy, emotional bonds between children and their parents. These methods nurture and fulfill a child’s need for trust, empathy, and affection while providing a lifelong foundation for healthy, enduring relationships. API offers support and socialization to families who practice attachment style parenting or who wish to learn more about this empathetic parenting method.

Monthly Meetings will be on hiadus until September 2006. During this time any Attachment Parenting related questions can still be addressed through the Janesville API yahoo! group. We look forward to starting meetings again in the fall & hope everyone has a wonderful spring & summer season.
SPRING PLAYGROUP SCHEDULE BEGINS IN APRIL
Indoor playgroup continues at various member homes through the spring. More information is avalible by joining our Yahoo! group. We have also begun planning for our SUMMER PARK PLAYGROUPS. MONTHLY MOM'S NIGHT OFF
When: First Wed monthly 6:30-8:30PM
Where: Mocha Moment, 1121 Center Ave. Janesville
We invite everyone to join the Janesville API mom's for a night out. Mocha Moment hosts an open mic night the first Wed of each month. This is the perfect opportunity to express our creativity, socialize with other mom's & enjoy a cup of java. As with all Janesville API events, nursing and "seperation challenged" children are more than welcome. We look forward to seeing you.

AP and The School Aged Child, Relating to Relatives, Healthy Eating For the Whole Family, Positive Discipline for Life, Baby Wearing Alternatives, Simplifing Your Life, Maintaining Balance in Family Life, Staying Educated about Education Options and many more. If there are topics which interest you, please feel free to suggest them. We are always open to new ideas!
As always our events are family friendly. Fathers and other interested family members are encouraged to attend. Children of all ages are welcome at our group events, in keeping with the 8 Ideals of Attachment Parenting. Crafts and toys will be avalible for the children to enjoy.
