Dear team,
The fall is underway, and the team is back together again. It is all very exciting, and the freshman haven't even come to practice yet. Practices started this Tuesday, and we had a good turnout, despite the blistering heat and smothering humidity. We ran a few drills, drank some water, scrimmaged, and enjoyed a fine meal at one of our five star dining establishments. Practice will not be this Thursday due to O-Fest, but we will be getting together on Friday. Next week we will be playing ultimate on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Meet outside of the Union as usual at 3:30 p.m. As time goes and we get a more consistent turnout, practices will continue to run more smoothly. Don't forget your light and dark shirts. Plug: Some of the players on the team will be playing for the Milwaukee Summer League Championship this Thursday. Feel free to come and yell heinous things from the sideline directed at the other team.
Tournaments:
As of right now we'll likely be playing in three tournaments. There is a possibility of a fourth, but we need to see what kind of numbers we get. We will be heading to Whitewater for "Hucktoberfest" at the end of September, and then to Naperville, IL. for "Glory Days" in the middle of October, and as usual, to Winona, Minnesota, for "Hallowinona" at the end of October. Get your brain to start storming, because last year's theme was in almost every respect TOP NOTCH. See you all at practice.

How The Team Started
The Marquette Ultimate Frisbee Club was founded in the fall of 2000. Shortly before becoming an official organization, a small group of "founders" recruited over 150 Marquette students that were interested in playing the sport of Ultimate Frisbee.
The Team Today
Today, a team of 30-40 men and women make up the MU Club Team. That's right, we have been promoted to a CLUB SPORT.
This past year showed enormous potential and put us in position to be solid contenders at regionals for many years to come. Along with a solid core, we have recruited some sweet talent and have been improving with every tournament, exhibition, and practice, even with every throw.
In addition to the MU Ultimate Men's Team, there is a also the MU Ultimate Women's Team. You can visit the web page listed in the links section to the left. The Women's team qualified for Regionals this past year. Good work ladies!
