 Awards

The Stego
This award is given to the player who has busted their “dorsal appendage” the most throughout the day. It might be the player that was making layouts all over the field or possibly the player who scored a Callahan.
It is important to note that the Stego himself is not to be taken lightly. He’s not as cute and cuddly as one would expect of a dinosaur. You need to be warned of his razor sharp tail that when unmonitored will destroy jerseys in the current possessor’s bag. His malicious stare will give you chills, and I’ve even heard he has eaten a few teammates. But not to worry, if he’s on good terms with the golden camel he’s generally harmless.
Without further ado, here are the rules of the Stego:
1. The award winner is to place her name on a piece of paper and insert it into the slit located on the Stego’s foot.
2. The Stego must be in direct contact with the player who earned it from the time she earns the award, until the time that someone else is awarded it.
3. If the Stego cannot be presented by the player who previously earned it at the moment it is to be passed on, then that player is to be subjected to a punishment agreed upon by the team. The exception to this is if the player who lost possession of the Stego wins the award again, she would then have an extended period to attempt to reclaim it.
4. The following rules explain when it is legal to take it from the current possessor. The current possessor is either the person who earned the award or the person who stole the award from the awardee.
a. From the time the Stego reaches the fields, until the Stego leaves the fields following the conclusion of play that day, it is safe from theft from your teammates. However, if the possessor does not take precautions to hide the Stego from the grubby hands of opponents (i.e. keep it in her bag), then the Stego is no longer considered safe.
b. The Stego is safe when it is physically contacting the current possessor. This includes all articles of clothing currently being worn by the possessor.
c. Agreements are allowed, such as those between roommates, but are taken on at the possessors own risk.

The D-Mug
The D-Mug is awarded to the player who has demonstrated the most intense defense throughout the day. The winner is expected to drink from the mug at all team get-togethers.

The Game Disc
The game disc is the most esteemed of all awards, for this is an award that any player can earn. This does not simply go to the best player, but to the player who played above and beyond what is currently expected of them.
