Thank You

Thank you to all who have made blankets for Project Linus to send to Haiti and for the children in our area. We have collected more that 500 blankets in the last couple months. 200 of those blankets have gone to specific organizations that are taking those blankets to Haiti.

Although we no longer need blankets to be sent to Haiti we can always use blankets in our area. Blankets can be any style or size, however 40" X 54" is our most needed. Blankets need to be HANDMADE and NEW. They should be made of kid friendly material and be washable. ( Please no wool, corduroy or polyester fabrics or yarns). Fun, bright colors are greatly appreciated.

What kind of blankets does Project Linus need?
Project Linus welcomes blankets of all styles. including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors & materials.

Blankets should be Handmade using NEW materials and must be washable.

Blankets should be of Good Quality and free from contaminates such as mold, mildew, smoke smell and chemicial smells. * Including strong smells from laundry detergents, fabric softeners and dryer sheets. Remember a good number of these blankets are going to children who are VERY ill and we need to do our best to help them get better.
