Chippewa Valley Area Project Linus

Project Linus is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization with a two-fold mission,

First, it is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
Second, it is our mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

Where Blankets Go
Blankets are regularly donated to the following Hospital Emergency Room/Urgent Care Areas for tramatized children:

Chippewa County:

St. Joseph's Hospital
Eau Claire County:

Luther Hospital

Sacred Heart Hospital

Blankets have also been donated to tramatized children in the following areas:

Children in need throughout western Wisconsin

Children of soldiers who have lost their lives

Children of people who lost their lives in the 9/11 New York City and the Pentagon incidents

Refugee children in Afghanistan

Orphanages in Mexico

Victims of wildfires in California
