All Columbia County Trails are CLOSED until aft Dec 14 and we get enough snow.
I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that over the weekend (Saturday, 11-21-09) the STEP/CAP program did formally receive a bill number - Senate Bill 406!
Attached is the link to the bill which has been referred to Senator Holperin's Committee on Transportation, Tourism, Forestry and Natural Resources. 28 Legislators are listed as co-sponsors of SB-406, with 16 Democrats and 12 Republicans signing on. This introduction is just one of the many steps that still need to taken as we move forward with the passage of this legislation, but we are headed in the right direction! Link

Rocky Run Riders next meeting will be at the Crestwood Inn on Wed, Dec 16. But before that, we are going to have a float in the Portage Holiday Parade, November 27th & Christmas Party on December 12th. Check the event page for more information.

Upcoming Events for Columbia County Snowmobile Club
Monthly Meeting at the Rainbow Inn on Dec 17th.
Our club was first incorporated on November, 26, 1975.
We hold our monthly meeting every third Wednesday from September to March. Starting at 7 pm at Crestwood Inn, just three (3) miles South of Portage on Hwy 51 & 16.
Our membership has over 25 families and membership fees are $15.00 per family or individuals. This includes membership into AWSC, also the magazine The Wisconsin Snowmobile News, an informative magazine published 8 times per year including articles of interest to snowmobilers, activities of clubs across the state. Membership runs from Sep 1 to August 31.

The date has been changed to Jan 22, 23 & 24, 2010. We are heading to Pine Ridge of Wautoma and the lodge has been reserved.
