Where will you be going?

New for 2013

Do you enjoy bowling in the women's national tournament, but are getting tired of traveling to the same locations year after year? You now have a new choice. You will be able to travel and explore the upper midwestern states. In 2013, for the kick off tournament, we can travel to Lansing, Michigan. Each year the tournament will move to a different state. Indiana 2014, Illinois 2015, Iowa 2016, Ohio 2017 and Wisconsin 2018. You do not have to be a bowler from one of the midwest states. It is open to all female USBC bowlers. 2012 Final Prize Listing

The 2012 Association Tournament found us at Madell's Lanes, Poy Sippi, on February 17, 18, 19, 25 and 26 for the Team Event.

Marble Park Lanes, Winneconne, hosted our Doubles and Singles Events on March 16, 17, 18, 24 and 25.

It was great to see many of you at our local event.

March 8 Singletary Cranks out Her Second Seven

Diane Singletary

After the lanes were powered off at Lambeaul Lanes in Redgranite on December 29
the books found left-handed-bowler Diane Singletary posting a 706 series.
Diane made it look effortless as she pounded out games of 205-268-233.
"I love bowling at Lambeaul Lanes on Thursdays. It's a fun bunch of gals," says Diane.

On March 8 Diane posted her second 700 series, with games of 226-238-258 for a 722. I can see why she loves it at Lambeaul Lanes. Diane is currently holding a 203 average.

Team Effort for Triplicate

In order to earn a triplicate award you must roll three games the same in a series. There are many times that you can roll two games alike, but getting the elusive third doesn't come along quite as easy.

It would be even harder to have your team roll a triplicate. But at Madell's Lanes on October 4, 2011 the team of Knot Anchor Inn did just that. The four woman team of Betty Fellner, Lynn Cumuze, Verdaine Anunson and Michelle (Mitch) Parker rolled team handicap scores of 786.
Now that's what I call a team effort. Good job gals!
