Bowling Action Notes: Several people have asked Bonnie Decker what type of stories the Bowling Action will print and when are the deadlines. On the first point Bonnie will print any article about bowling that you send in. Remember that readers prefer to read a story instead of a report so if you send a report; she may change it some for more fluid reading. You will still get the byline. She accepts photos too and will acknowledge the source so you can use it in contests if you desire. On the deadline issue, she has tried to stay away from actually naming deadlines. She have found from working with our state bowlers, that if you have a story and put off writing it until the deadlines nears, chances are you will forget it. So she will name some deadlines but she highly suggest that if you have a story about any events in your association that you send it in right after it happens. It will be in the first issue after she receives your article.
