To process your tribute award, the recipient must be in their second semester or more of college or school of choice. They must then send a letter to the Association Manager, Wisconsin State USBC Youth Association with their name, address and SS# to request the money be sent to the school. They must also have a letter from the school indicating that they are in their second semester or more. A check will be sent to the school.
WIN an entry into the 2010 USBC Junior Gold Championships! It's your chance to bowl with the best youth bowlers in the nation and earn scholarships. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE: 12 GAMES from any of the following events: A. WI State USBC Youth Association Championship Tournament. B. 500/600 Tournament (July 27, 2008). C. Scratch Scholarship Tournament (January 31, 2009). All Participants MUST bowl in the 2009 Championship Tournament. Participants also must be a certified WI State Youth member and a Junior Gold Member.
We are happy to announce that we are making some changes to our workshop and annual meeting.Our workshop will now be a bowling expo, where you will go table to table and gathering information that you are in need of. No more will you sit and listen to a speaker. Every attendee will be given a chance to win a free bowling ball. This expo will start at 10:00am and end at Noon. We then will break for lunch. At 1:30pm we will start our annual meeting. Now here comes another change, we will no longer be giving out scholarships during this meeting. Instead we will be having an awards banquet at Super Bowl, starting at 4:30pm, with the scholarship winners meal being paid for by WI USBC YA. Then at 6:30 our youth bowlers can check in for our Rock N Bowl, with bowling starting at 7pm. Please pass this exciting information to your local associations.
The 2009 Youth State Bowling Expo (formerly called Annual Meeting)will be held at the: Radisson Paper Valley Hotel 333 West College Ave Appleton, WI 54911 1-920-733-8000, 1-800-333-3333, July 25, 2009, Room rate of 89.00 Rooms will be held until July 3, 2009. 500/600 will be held at Super Bowl on July 26, 2009. More info to come at a later date.
