2012 Wisconsin State USBC Annual Meeting Info

When: August 11, 2012

Where: Dale's Weston Lanes, Mountain Bay Banquet Conference Center

Time: 9am Registration/Expo--9:30 Speakers Begin--1:30 Annual Meeting

Scholarship Awards Banquet, Dales Weston Lanes 4:30, All scholarship winners banquet meal will be paid for by the State Youth Association, meal will consist of Pizza/Pasta buffet, assorted pizza, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, bread sticks, soda and water. Cost is 10.00 per person.

Rock N Bowl, 7pm, Dales Weston Lanes. cost is 9.00 per bowler(which includes 3 games of bowling and shoes)Entry form at the bottom of this page.

500-600 Tournament, August 12, 8:30 and 11:00 shifts, Dales Weston Lanes. Bowler must have bowled a 500 series(girls) or 600 Series(boys) at state bowling tournament in any year, to be eligible to bowl in this tournament. Entry form at the bottom of this page.

Directors 9 thru 12 up for election and delegate to USBC Convention.

Delegates Credentions are due on June 1.

We have blocked 60 rooms at Weston Inn & Suites, room rates are 79.99 or $155.00 both Friday and Saturday, reservations can be made at 1-715-355-9955, reservations at this price and room block will end 3 week prior to arrival (July 20)

Noon Luncheon:Because of the limited time between the expo and the annual meeting, we will have a buffet style luncheon, which will consist of hamburgers, chicken breasts, bake beans, potato salad, fruit salad, cheese, onions, tomatoes, buns and assorted condiments for $14.00 per person. Reservations for the lunch and scholarship awards banquet are due by July 31.

Volunteer of the year nominations are due by May 15.

Delegates attending the Expo in the morning will receive an entry to win a bowling ball. We are also going to have a TV in our scholarship raffle this year.

We will be having a Pro Bowler again, to be announced at a later date.

BOWLERS SMART ACCOUNT INSTRUCTIONS

Once a bowler wins scholarship monies it is put into the Smart Account #10665. USBC sends each bowler a letter telling them how much was put into their Smart Account. The bowler will then have to contact USBC, and they will assign an username and password, once you have this information you will be able to look up what scholarship funds are in your account. You can find the Smart Account link on bowl.com under the Tournament tab. Just login in as a scholarship winner. The Wisconsin State USBC Youth Association office cannot supply username or password, nor can we look them up if you cannot locate yours. You also will have to contact USBC to have these funds paid to a college.

Entry Forms are sent after you have made reservations.

Team and doubles events winners will receive a trophy, this trophy will be mailed to the coach that made the reservations. Singles and all events winners are given scholarships.
