The Wisconsin Women Bowling Writers is formed to bring together, in an atmosphere of friendliness and cooperation, all members of the Wisconsin Women's Bowling Association who are interested in the promotion of and writing about the game of bowling. We encourage each local association to make available for publication, feature story material and news items that are of interest to other bowlers. We provide a medium for publisizing special events and outstanding accomplishments of associations and individuals in the state.

WWBW Membership
New applicants for membership in the WWBW must be members of the Wisconsin State USBC Women's Bowling Association. For an annual dues fee of $5 you will receive a subscription to the State Newsletter-Bowling Action and the WWBW Newsletter-Bits of News, it will give you the right to vote for contest winners at our annual meeting and you will also receive an annual meeting gift.		 
Membership covers the bowling fiscal year of August 1 thru July 31. If you'd like to become a member, or need to renew your membership; please e-mail Kandy, or you can print this Membership Form and send in with the appropriate fee.
 

Bits of News

Bits of News is the Wisconsin Women Bowling Writers newsletter. There are two issues a year printed and mailed to the members of our organization. Issues will give you tips on how to spice up your writing skills, how to design a poster, how to capture that perfect photo; and of course, how to submit them to our contests. Our contests are a way of sharing your promotional ideas about the great family sport of American Tenpins.

Be sure and submit any articles you'd like to see published in our newsletter to Bonnie Decker, Bits of News Editor.


Mail-O-Graphic Tournament 2012

The WWBW will again be holding their "Bowl For The Cure" mail-o-graphic tournament. Last year found 130 entrants participating in this fund raiser.

This year we have a change in the available divisions. Div 1 Female 150 and above - Div 2 Female 149 and below - Div 3 Male all averages. For more information on the event and a copy of the entry form, please click on the link in the upper left corner of this home page.

"Free" Cash Drawing

A "free" drawing was held as a "thank you"
to the 99 members present at our March 11, 2011 annual meeting.
The 6 - $25 winners were: Wendy Church, Myrt Tetting, Karla Andersen,
Mary Danielsen, Judy Borths and Skip Martin.
Congratulations!

As a benefit to our members we will again have this "free" cash drawing at our 2012 Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held at 6:45 pm on Friday, March 9 at the Ho-Chunk Hotel & Convention Center in Baraboo.

The WWBW is currently seeking nominations for the positions of Vice President, Sgt at Arms and Director #3. Term of office is for 3 years. The board meets two times during the season ..
