73, of Grant Town, passed away Friday, January 13th.

BUD GREATHOUSE
Bud was taken to Fairmont General on Thursday, December 15th with breathing problems. He is in Room 335.

Virgil L. Hibbs, 77, of Mineral Wells, West Virginia (currently from Columbus, Ohio) died on November 28th, 2011. Born on September 25th, 1934 in Grant Town, West Virginia, he was the son of John and Marie (Fusarina) Hibbs.

BUD GREATHOUSE
is in Fairmont General, Room 332, with pneumonia. His son, Rodney, has requested our prayers. (11/23/11). Bud is home now.

PEARL B. JONES
94, of Fairview, passed away Thursday November 17, 2011. She was the mother of Alice Jones Phillips and John Jones.

Lillian Marie Layman Amos, 88, of Fairview, died August 18, 2011. She was the mother of Pebble Layman Markley and Herschel Layman.

Fred James Haught, 68, of Barrackville, passed away Wednesday August 17, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born February 28, 1943 in Fairview, WV, son of Clara Fluharty Haught of Fairview, and the late James H. (Huck) Haught.

is in a nursing home and only weighs 98 pounds, because of cancer.

Mary Vivian Jacquez , 75 of Buchanan, Michigan died Wednesday July 13th.

LINDA BAKER HARKER
Linda Baker Harker (class of 1961) had 4-way heart by-pass surgery last week and is doing well (last week of June).

JUNE GUMP EDDY
(Class of 1959) had a heart attack and they put in three stints on Sunday, July 3rd. She was back to church on Sunday July 24th and is feeling better - has a stress test in Aug.

WANDA PARRISH MONELL
had a stroke on Friday, June 24th and is a Louisville Hospital. They think she is doing okay.

Marg came home yesterday (Thursday, May 12) and she still has a bad cough. She feels some what better. (from Cathy)

BOB PARKER
Went into the hospital on April 15th, for a 10 day stay. Got out on April 25th. Breathing problems. Still very weak. My blood sugars are still over 200. The medicine doesn't seem to be helping.

Saturday evening, she is somewhat better. She will be in the hospital at least 2 to 3 more days.

Jim had Marg put in the hospital with a very bad cold that went to her lungs and it was making her breath to hard. It is the Elyria Memorial Hospital in Elyria Ohio. This is the address. EMH regional Medical Center 630 E. River St. Elyria , Ohio.

Kenny's wife, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

MARGARET EDDY FOX
She has finished her exercise classes. I think it was the 4th that was her last one. She did go to Cleveland on the 10th. Had a few test up there and talked to a social worker and others. She goes back on the 18th for a heart catheration and EKG. Then on March 7th she will go back to Cleveland for some lab work. The doctor in Cleveland wants her to do some more therapy. After she goes to see her doctor on March the 1st she will probably start her other classes of therapy. She is doing pretty well, still has a lot of shortness of breath. So far she had gotten through this winter without getting sick. Keep her in your prayers.

George Albert Stiles, 71, of Fairview, passed away Feb. 9, 2011.

DALE HAUGHT'S SISTER
Dale's sister, Roszella, passed away Monday evening, February 7th. She had a bad stroke on Saturday.

BOB PARKER
I am going in for surgery on Monday, January 31st, to repair 4 herniated discs in my neck. I'm O.K. Little pain but nothing I can't put up with. I got out of the hospital yesterday (Wednesday, February 2nd).

JANICE TENNANT FLUHARTY
Janice Sue fell in her basement on Monday, January 24th and broke her hip. She cannot have surgery until the cumadin (?) gets out of her system.

Dove Ann Turner Phillips has had surgery for lung cancer and treatments. According to Lois Boyle, she is gaining ground and getting stronger. Her address is POB 1903, Candler, NC 28715.

Janice Haught Vozel has had a stroke. She will have a long recovery. Her address is 30 Hamata, Hazel Park, MI 48030.

Jean Rossello, 73, of Simpsonville, S.C., died Sunday, January 2, 2011.
She was born Dec 10, 1937, in Gray Flats. She was the daughter of Monty Toothman and Maxine Tomlinson of Fairview and a 1955 graduate of Fairview High School. She was the sister of Norman Toothman.

UPDATE ON MARGARET EDDY FOX
She started her exercise classes Monday Dec. 20. She will be going three days a week for 10 weeks. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They want to try and get her built up some. That way when they have a lung she will be ready for it. These classes also are teaching her how to breath. They had her walking on a tread mill. Think she will be doing some by going up and down the stairs. Just keep her in your prayers that one day soon she will be able to get another lung.

LOUELLA TOBIN PASSED AWAY
Louella Jeannette Tobin Hoult, 71, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (Dec. 17, 2010) at The Arbors of Fairmont on Kaufman Drive. She was born Jan. 24, 1939 in Grant Town, a daughter of the late Ernest Augustus and Erma Vivian McElroy Tobin. She was Melvin's sister.

MARGARET EDDY FOX
She has seen a Lung Transplant doctor at the Cleveland University Hospital. We are hoping she can get on the list for a lung transplant. She went through a lot of test and has to do some other lung exercise. I will keep you informed as I find out anything. Just keep her and her family in your prayers. Pray that she will be able to get a new Lung.

RONNIE PYLES
Ronnie passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010. He was in the class of 1960.

BOB PARKER
Bob has not been well. He had a heart catherization on Thursday, September 30th. His heart is okay. Other tests to follow. He said tell everyone "Hello".

JUNIOR FREELAND
June Freeland passed away Friday, August 13th. He had been having circulation problems in his legs and was in the hospital having a bunch of tests run out in Oklahoma City. He had a massive heart attack while being tested and died shortly afterwards. He was in the Class of 1957.

DARRELL CONAWAY
had a mild heart attack on Monday evening, August 9th. He had balloon surgery and a stint put in. He is home and doing fine.

FRED MERCER PASSED AWAY
Fred Mercer of Fairview passed away Tuesday (Aug. 3, 2010). He was 99 years old and was looking forward to celebrating his 100th birthday in January.

DONNIE HAUGHT - UPDATE
He is out of the hospital now and is doing really well. He went to his primary care doctor today and he was told that he would be on blood thinners the rest of his life because his body has the tendency to "throw" clots. They are afraid one may go to his lungs and that would be it. His numbers for his blood sugar are great and he has learned to give himself insulin and to stick his own finger. Doing great!! We sure have appreciated your prayers.

VONDA PHEASANT
Vonda Clelland Gump Pheasant was knocked down by a dog on Tuesday, July 20th. She has a broken hip and a broken arm. She is in Ruby and had surgery on Thursday. She is taking therapy and could possibly go home (Fairview) on Friday, August 6th.

Helen Mocsary Jacques
Helen died Sunday, July 18th. She was in the Class of 1959.

BOB GREASER
Bob was in ICU for three days and came home on Wednesday evening, July 14th. He is doing much better now.

Rose Marie Yann, 73, of Fairmont passed away Monday (June 14, 2010).

Herb Clelland, Vonda's brother died Friday, April 30, 2010.

Nancy Greaser McGreevy passed away this week. She was Bob Greaser's cousin.

Mary Lou Haught passed away
age 77, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday March 30, 2010. Mary was the daughter of the late W. Edwin Lough and Mary Clayton Lough. Surviving are two sons, Alan Haught and Brian Haught, both of Fairview; and a sister, Ramona Fluharty and husband Bill of Fairview. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Haught.

Alice is having problems with her eyesight. Also, her mother was put in a rest home.

Margie Eddie Fox and Catherine Eddy Williams has a sister, Betty, that lives in Akron, Ohio. He husband passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010.

Martha came home from the hospital on Monday, February 22. She is doing well and is taking therapy.

RUTH ANN BURNS' MOTHER
Mrs. Lorraine Burns, 91, of Fairmont, died Friday night (Feb. 19, 2010) at Fairmont General Hospital.

MARTHA JONES SHUMAN
Martha had a new knee put in on Monday, February 8. She has taken 25 steps on it already. She will have to take therapy. The muscles have deteriorated in that leg.

SKIP DELLIGATTI
On February 18th, Skip will have his old kidney removed. The one Linda gave him is working fine.

NOTE FROM BOB PARKER
They did a catscan and found a 4 cm aortic aneurysm. It has to be 5 cm before they will operate to correct it.

Vaughn William Gaskin Jr., 81, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (Oct. 16, 2009).

BOB PARKER
Just got back from the Cleveland Clinic Florida near Ft. Lauderdale. Drove two hours down there about 3 a.m. Thursday morning to the emergency room. Several hours later they gave me a catherization, angioplasty with a stent. That's my third stent after triple-by-pass.
