Spiritual Growth
We meet weekly as the whole community in worship, and ina variety of other ways to grow in our relationship with God and with one another. Contemporary and classic, reverent and relevant; our worship is designed to bring our modern lives into intimate contact with the old, old story or God's love, which is always new and always present. Around the communion table, we remember what has been, and look forward to what shall be for all of Christ's disciples. Come, worship and grow with us!

Caring Relationships
Although each Disciples congregation has its own "personality," all have people who care for each other, opportunities to grow and learn, and ways to serve others. We hope you will explore how those things happen at Central through study and fellowship groups, supportive friendships, pastoral care and guidance, and numerous ministries of love and compassion.

Serving Others
Disciples ministries don't stop at the front door of the church building. We work to make a difference in the wider community and the world. As followers of Jesus, we support various local ministries of outreach, such as the Huntington City Mission, Habitat for Humanity, and Christian Associates' Cridlin Food and Clothing Pantry. With other Disciples, we reach out to North America, "getting dirty for Jesus," providing discaster relief and bringing hope where there is despair. Some 80 Disciples facilities care for abused children and their families, persons with disabling conditions or senior adults. Our 22 higher education institutions touch students as they make decisions for the future. Our overseas ministries stretch around the globe. With partner churches, we share the Good News, digging wells, training pastors, immunizing children, and much more. Come, join us in service!
