ESL Our English as a Second Language (ESL) students come from a variety of backgrounds. These foreign born students are learning English as their Second Language. LVEP encourages preserving a person's native language as they pursue to learn another. We offer both one-on-one tutoring for our ESL students and a variety of classes. ESL classes are now in progress at the Open Door Literacy Center in Charles Town (Jefferson County Community Ministry building) and at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Martinsburg (co-sponsored with the Berkeley County Adult Basic Education) every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Other times by appointment: call the LVEP office: (304) 264-0298 |
