LVEP tutor Pat Novak worked with student Charles S. for about two years to help him reach his three goals: to be able to read the Bible, to handle his own finances, and to get a GED. Charles has now accomplished two of these goals and is well on his way to the third! He has received his Minister’s license and last September became head of his own church. He also has taken over the financial responsibilities of his home, and opened a checking account. With the help of a tutor in Winchester, Charles is currently working toward his GED.
