This year's Poker Run was well attended considering that the MountainFest was taking place in Morgantown on the same day. We had 35 bikes and approximately 50 riders. The run began at Hastings and went through Wetzel, Marion, Monogalia and Harrison counties with stops at the American Legion in Hundred, Just One More in Blacksville, Jade's Lounge in Worthington and Moz & Poz in Dola. The winning Poker hand of 4 Aces was held by Sheri Elder of Jacksonburg and the second place Full House belonged to Kim Leek of Hastings. The winner of the 50/50 drawing was B. Headley of Reader and the winner of the $500 gasoline card went to Rick Dennison of Smithfield. Mike Coen received a unique trophy for having the worst poker hand.
