Read Aloud Berkeley County is a chapter of Read Aloud West Virginia and is a program of The Education Alliance.
The mission of Read Aloud is to motivate children to want to read.
"The single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading is READING ALOUD to children."

1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Must love children and reading
3. Must commit 30 minutes per week to reading to an assigned class (K-5)
4. Must attend one Orientation Session (approx. 90 minutes)
