On Sunday April 27, 2014 our photographer, Laura Moul, will hold a Free Digital Camera Workshop at the Renaissance Art Gallery. Bring your camera and fresh batteries and Laura will help you make sense of it and its settings.

Pati Payne is a fine- arts painter in watercolor, oil and mixed media. She paints the Appalachian life style from photographs that she takes of the people, places and things in her life. Her paintings are done in the impressionistic style with color and light.
She works in her home studio in Ironton, Ohio and also enjoys painting outside en plein air around the tri-state. Pati has been a dedicated artist for the past forty years.

Tuesday March 18, 2014, a new show opened across the river in Proctorville. The “Many Faces of Art, The Artists of the Renaissance Art Gallery” featuring all of us will open at Ohio University Proctorville Center.

The gallery is a member-owned, member-run gallery. The Renaissance Gallery in Huntington WV opened in 2001 and has consistently won the hearts of everyone who visits.
Our Mission is to promote art and art education in the community and among its members. To encourage and promote a public interest and understanding of art; to create and develop a closer relationship between art and the community and further the education and artistic development of its members.
