Reception for 8th Annual National Miniature Exhibition

The reception for the Eighth Annual National Miniature Exhibition was held on November 2, 2008. There was a steady stream of visitors to see the artwork, meet the artists and enjoy the atmosphere.
The Miniature Show attracted many people from the community.
Artist-Members provided reception.
The Tables were lovely and comfortable.
Many Visitors enjoy the refreshments.
The refreshment table was popular
The reception gave artists from around the area a chance to meet one another. They could talk and exchange ideas about art and upcoming shows. Many visited with people from the community.
Artists talked about miniatures
Artists enjoyed talking to others are the their art and the art world. Both artists and non-artists enjoyed the event.
Minatures cover a wide range of styles and subjects
Everyone enjoyed the range of art displayed. Many marveled at the skill of the artists to work so small and do such fine, detailed work. It is a tribute to their creativity that so many subjects and styles were represented

The walls are covered with over 75 miniature works of art.
