2009 Miniature Exhibition
Plans are being made for the 2009 Miniature show to be held during Nov 2009.
Todd Osborne has review the works submitted for the "Windows and Doors" Photography Show and made his selections. To find out what they are, come to the reception Sunday July 12 and see for yourself! Reception is from 2-4 pm in the Gallery Show Hall. See you there!
Todd Osborne ~ Juror for "Windows & Doors"
Todd Osborne has been selected as juror for the First Annual Photography Exhibition at the Renaissance Art Gallery this summer.
Mr. Osborne is a graduate of Marshall University and has been an instructor at the Huntington The Huntington Museum of Art, The Museum in the Community in Hurricane WV, and at Taylor Books in Charleston. He has also been a public school art teacher at Hurricane High School and adjunct faculty for the art department at Marshall. Mr. Osborne’s work has been exhibited at shows in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky and Kansas.

Wednesday Evening Art Class
Ever want to learn to paint, to draw, or just to appreciate art? Local artists are willing to share their knowledge and passion for art.
The Renaissance Art Gallery, a non-profit artist co-op is offering a range of Fine arts classes to the community. All classes are taught at the Renaissance Gallery located in the old High School, ground floor. Call the gallery for more information.

Adult Drawing Class
Again this year the Exhibition will be held for the month of November. Ship date for art is October 15, 2009, with art to be accepted at the gallery starting October 23, 2009. Reception for artists and public will be Sunday, November 1, 2-4 pm at the Renaissance Art Gallery, 900 8th Street, Suite #20 in Huntington, WV. The Renaissance Gallery is an artist-run Gallery. There is always an artist on duty.
Dear Fellow Artist:
The gallery is a member-owned, member-run gallery. The Renaissance Gallery in Huntington WV opened in 2001 and has consistently won the hearts of everyone who visits. The showroom adjacent to the main gallery features a new theme-based show each month.
For artists ready for gallery representation, what could be better way than with a co-op gallery? Think how this will enhance your artistic resume! You will also be able to participate in month long shows and artistic challenges, thus building up your artistic “muscles.”
We would like to invite area artists to join us in our co-op showcase. A jury of active members considers new candidates for membership each month. All artists are invited to bring five artistic works, paintings, sculptures, ceramic works or such, display ready, to the gallery before the third Sunday of each month so it can be juried. This process takes about three weeks.
