Meet the Pastor

Rev. William "Bill" Pollack was called to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of St. Albans on October 5, 2008. He is a retired United Methodist Minister after serving for 23 years. In 2003 he began a second career in teaching and has taught for four years. He is a physical education teacher at Johnson County Middle School in Paintsville, Kentucky. While teaching in Augusta, Kentucky, he served as a part time minister at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Millersburg, Kentucky for two years.

He received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and his Master of Education from Morehead State University.

Pastor Bill is married to Nanette Pollack. She is the office manager at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), of Ashland, Kentucky. He has four children (Jill, Erin, Bethany and Vann), two stepchildren (Shauna and Joe). He is the grandfather of Isabella, Launa Jo, James Vann-Cooper, Isaac and Gabrielle will make her arrival in January.
