Sam Bombard continues to struggle after his automobile accident. Please keep Sam and his family in your prayers.

From Kevin and Mary: thank you for the prayers you’ve offered to God on behalf of our great nephew, Nicholas. Nick has decided to spend the summer months with his mother. He’s still kicking around the idea as to whether or not he wishes to begin the 2011-2012 school year in Doddridge county or Marion county. Please pray that Nickolas will make the right decision and that he will have the best possible future.

Continue to keep Jerry Criss in your prayers as she continues to deal with a variety of health issues. She is home now and doing better.

Tanya Robe had a complete mastectomy at Mon General this past Wednesday morning. Please keep her, Ray and the entire family in your prayers. She is doing well, but might need radiation and chemo.

Harold Jones, friend of Joan McDaniel and Linda Hawkinberry, is under Hospice care and needs prayers of comfort for him and his family.

Bill Mundell is fighting cancer and not doing well. Kim Dumire has become aquainted with his wife where Terry is taking therapy.

Joan McDaniel’s coworker’s brother fell asleep and hit a tree. He was life-flighted to Ruby from Wood County and is in ICU.

Monica Smith, a friend of Holly White, is going through a divorce. Also, her mother fell and has broken bones. Her aunt died in a boating accident. Please keep Monica and her family in your prayers.

Marshall Arnett has requested prayers for Mark Starsick, who recently had a major stroke.

Jenny Moore's father's main artery in his heart was almost completely restricted. A stent was put in. He is doing well and came home Thursday.

Jenny Moore's father went to the Emergency Room with heart problems. The main artery in his heart was almost completely restricted. It is a more dangerous place to stint but the procedure went well and he is recovering now. He came home Thursday.

Betty Markovich, daughter of Betty McFee and sister of Rick Earle, had lumpectomy surgery and is now cancer free, but will be having treatment.

Our deepest condolences are extended toward Alice Conaway after the loss of her sister, Mary Jacquaz, this past week.

Jean Wood, Don Gull's sister, passed away on Thursday, July 14th. Graveside services will be on Monday in Wheeling.

Dave Soles’ uncle in Ohio, Bob Jamison, has been battling cancer for a long time. He is now in a Rest Home and he only weighs 98 pounds. Dave has requested prayers for Bob and his family.

Sarah McDaniel, a friend of Donna and Billy McCoy, has a tumor on her kidney and she is developing a cyst.

David Ford was scheduled for an MRI on Friday, July 29th for severe back pain.

Tanya Robe was taken to Ruby Hospital with a fever and a very low blood count. She reported that she is getting to come home on Monday afternoon. Her counts are coming up. Cancer center Tuesday for an infusion and hopefully that brings her back up to have her next chemo on the 17th. Thanks so much for all of the calls, concern and prayers.

Don Gull is having lots of leg pain.

Martin Dalton, Ruth Ann's husband, had a triple by-pass on Friday morning.

Gene Stevens' sister, India Phares, recently had surgery. Please keep her in your prayers.

Robert Tonkery, Matt and Mark's dad, had a biopsy on Monday. He will have major surgery on Tuesday. They will remove a large mass from his colon and he will be in Intensive Care for 7 to 10 days. Now, the doctors think he might have an enlarged heart, so they are going to do an Echo-Cardiogram on him before doing surgery. Please pray for him.

A guy Brenda Grant went to high school with, Kenny (Butch) Jenkins, is in Boston seeing a cancer doctor - he has a tumor in his neck, on/near his jugular vein. He also has COPD and a muscular diease (similar to MS)...

Robert Tonkery has made it successfully through his surgery and is in the ICU unit of the VA Hospital in Clarksburg.

Keep Martin Dalton in your prayers as he recovers from his recent surgery.

Robert Tonkery, Mark and Matt's dad - biopsy results show that he has cancer and it has spread to his lymph nodes and possibly his liver. He is home now, but needs our prayers.

Melvin Salal Rogers - Hey everyone, keep prayin 4 me. Me, a few members, and an elder will actually be moving my wife into her government housing tomorrow morning. I will be officially (although has been this way since March) a part time dad and that pretty much still hurts. Somehow I gotta get through it so pray for me....

Lisa Austin, a friend of LeeAnn Blake, is having some major medical problems. She just lost her mother-in-law and sister-in-law, she may lose her home, and her husband has just been diagnosed with COPD. She is very down and has expressed that even her marriage is suffering. LeeAnn has requested our prayers.

Kevin Blaney appears to be doing better, but is still in need of our prayers.

Martin Dalton (Ruth Ann’s husband) was re-admitted to the hospital because of bleeding. He is home now.

Braden O’Malley, grandson of Bryant and Rhonda Myers, will be tested this coming week in preparation for open-heart surgery.

Noah Miller (brother-in-law of Matt & Mark Tonkery) fell and hit his head. He had brain surgery this past Wednesday to remove a blood clot.

Prayers have been requested for Betty Vincent (Cindy Perkins mother). Betty was admitted to Ruby hospital this past week after doctors found something on one of her lungs.

Louise Stevens was put in the Ruby Hospital Sunday with breathing problems. She came home on Tuesday.

Kevin Blaney is back home following a recent stay in the ICU of Ruby hospital. Thanks so much for prayers on his behalf.

Keep Betty Markovich in your prayers as she recovers from her recent cancer treatment.

Martin Dalton (Ruth Ann’s husband) is now home after spending a short time in the hospital.

Keep Jenny Moore’s father in your prayers. He is currently in Ruby hospital dealing with heart issues.

Keep Noah Miller in your prayers. Noah is the Brother-in-law of Mark & Matt Tonkery who is suffering from fluid on the brain after recent surgery.

Dave Liller, Sr., whose son was a co-worker of Matt Tonkery, has lukemia. Prayers are requested for Dave.

Darrell Titchenell had a surgical procedure last week. He is doing well, but still needs of our prayers.

Robert Tonkery is awaiting results of his Pet Scan.

Betty Jo Shaffer was in UHC with health issues. She needs our prayers.

Harry Summers had hip replacement surgery on Monday, October 3rd. He is recovering at home and doing well.

Louise Stevens is not feeling well. Please keep her and Gene in your prayers.

Trish Rush, a member of Mt. Nebo and age 80, fell down the basement steps. She passed away at 9:30 Wednesday morning. She never regained consciousness.

Lisa Brooks' father, Neil Snider, passed away on Wednesday, October 5th, as a result of cancer.

Karen Yoho, wife of Elder Steve Yoho of the Mannington congregation and a teacher at the Tech Center at North Marion High School, was hit by another vehicle. She is much better and is taking Rehab.

Tammy Ross has breast cancer. She will be seeing Dr. Abraham in Morgantown. Let us (as her Christian family) support her, love her and encourage her.

Tanya Robe had her PET Scan last Thursday and she is cancer free.

Tanya Robe’s mother, Toni Balenger will be having surgery Monday; prayers are being asked by family that surgery is successful.

Prayers are requested for Samantha Heston who fell at school on Friday and broke her right arm ( and she is right-handed). She is in a temporary cast and will get permanent cast put on tomorrow (Monday, Nov. 7); Samatha would appreciate cards Address is Rt. 2 Box 191 A, Grafton, WV 26354.

Prayers are requested for Michael Brand, Margaret’s son. Michael is having health problems.

Mary Ann Lipscomb has requested prayers for Ian Satterfield who has the Mersa Infection and was scheduled for surgery today, Sunday, Nov. 6th.

Earl Cutright had pacemaker surgery. keep him in your prayers.

Annabelle Shreve, 3 weeks old, had heart surgery yesterday (Monday 7th)and passed away today. She is the daughter of Tiffany and Levi Shreve, who are friends of Jenny Moore.

Charlotte Wilson had foot surgery. She is doing fine and staying with her sister.

Christian Lovin, nephew of Edwina, has damaged hearing. It will get worse and he will probably go deaf. Please pray for Christian.

CLARE BELLE MUSGROVE'S BROTHER, John Junior Linn, 89, of Fairmont passed away Sunday.

Mary Lough's mom had knee surgery on Monday.

Mary Ann Lipscomb asked for prayers for Sheila Armentrout, sister-in-law of Sandy Goodin. She is having health issues and kidney issues.

Mary Ann Lipscomb's friend Gene, in Arkansas, was in an auto accident and needs prayers.

Mary Ann Lipscomb's friend, Janice Singleton, fell and hurt her knee. Leroy Singleton is having health issues.

Sympathy is extended to Clarabelle Musgrove and her family. Clarabelle’s brother (John Junior Linn) passed away. Services were conducted last week.

Isaiah Janes, Kenny Cottrell’s brother's grandson, was admitted to Ruby hospital this past week with a ruptured appendix. Doctors used antibiotics to clear up the infection so they could perform surgery.

Andy Shreves requested prayers for Rob Faber and his family. Doctors gave him about a year to live. The cancer is eating up his vital organs.

Tammy Ross thanks everyone for the support, cards and prayers. Some positive news was received this past week. Tests show that a drug can be used to directly attack the cancer cells. With this drug, the probability of actually eliminating the cancer increases. In addition, Tammy's port surgery (this past Wednesday) went well.
Weekly treatments of chemo (to treat the entire body) and the additional drug (to fight cancer cells in the liver, lung and breastbone) will begin the week of Nov 20. After 12 treatments (end of February), a pet scan will be performed to see if the treatment has been successful.

Bruce Goody, a friend of Tom Little, had heart surgery on Wednesday, November 23rd in Columbus, Ohio. He is doing okay.

Matt Tonkery's coworker's wife has breast cancer and has asked for prayers.

Prayer has been requested for Donna & Billy McCoy. Donna’s mother will need to be relocated to a nursing facility closer to Fairmont so Donna & Bill can periodically check on her.

Sympathy is extended to the Shaffer family. Carl’s father passed away last week.

Gabriel Anderson has requested prayers for a coworker's son, Hayden Corwin. He is having serious health issues and needs our prayers.

J.R. Fortney, Edith Gull's brother, was taken to Ruby. He had a bad stroke and is paralized on one side. Would like prayers for the family.

Ann Shreve's grandfather is not doing well. He is in St. Joe's Hospital in Parkersburg. Ken Fletcher is his name and he needs our prayers.

Marsha Sparks' brother-in-law is having seizures. Doctors still don't know what's causing the seizures & they seem to be getting worse. Marsha has requested prayers.

J.R. Fortney (Edith Gull’s brother) has suffered a stroke and has been admitted to Ruby hospital.

The sister of a little boy in Nursery School is in Ruby Hospital. Tests for meningitis were negative, but she has a high fever along with her head and neck hurting.

Tommy Scott, 4 years old and a family friend of Linda Huber's sister, had surgery for a brain tumor at Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. He was released and doing well, but developed a fever and had to be taken back to the hospital. Please keep Tommy and his family in your prayers.

Prayers are requested for the Durrett family. Travis is experiencing stomach problems. Doctors at UPMC have done a biopsy of his esophagus and tests have come back normal.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Louise Stevens. Louise went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon after an extended illness. In keeping with Louise’s request, there will be a private family memorial service held in Louise’s memory at an undisclosed date.

During the holidays, it’s always a good idea to keep those in mind who’ve lost loved ones. Encouragement goes a long way as folks miss those of whom they’ve spent a lifetime with.

Keep the Steven’s family in your prayers. Services for Louise were conducted this past Thursday.

Prayers have been requested for Donna McCoy’s mother who was moved to Wishing Well recently.

Marjorie Kisner has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Additional tests were conducted day before yesterday. Please keep her and Randy in your prayers.

Ann Shreves' grandfather, Kenneth Fletcher, passed away on Friday, December 23rd. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 26th at Myers Funeral Home in Sistersville, WV. Visitation will be from 11 am - 1 pm; and the service will be at 1 pm.

Kevin Glaspel, grandson of Bud and Mary Ann Lipscomb, had his appendix removed Thursday in Charleston. Prayers have been requested for Kevin.

This past Saturday evening Norma Riley fell and broke her wrist. She is recovering at home.

Keep Margie Kisner in your prayers as she deals with her recent diagnosis.

JR Fortney, Edith Gull's brother, has been moved back to Ruby Memorial. He is in room 1011. Pray especially that he make progress in regaining the ability to swallow.

Darrell Titchenell, Cliff's father, passed out and was taken to a Morgantown Hospital. He was dehydrated, his blood pressure was low, his potassium was low and his pacemaker was not working properly. They are keeping him a few days until he is better.

Andy Miller was opening a container of stripping agent to strip a floor and the container collapsed, causing Andy to be burned on parts of his body. He was transported to the Pittsburgh Burn Center. Please pray for Andy. He is now home.

Prayers have been requested for Ava DelRicco, 18 months old, in Ocean City, Maryland. Her mother's car was hit by a man on narcotics at twice the speed limit. Ava is in John Hopkins Pediatric Center in Baltimore, Maryland in critical condition. She will probably never be able to function without machines.

Ed Flowers, Angie’s father-in-law, had a heart catherization on Friday. He will have open heart surgery in the near future.

Darrell Titchenell, Cliff’s father, is recovering at home. He still needs our prayers.

LeeAnn Blake's sister-in-law, Valerie Tonkery, has a sister, Julie Lassic, who has a ruptured appendix, ganggreen in her abdomen and was moved into the Cardiac Care Unit. She may have infection in her blood stream. She is young and has small children. Please pray for Julie.

J.R. Fortney has been moved to health south for therapy. His swallowing has improved a little. Keep the prayers coming as they are definitely helping.

Charlotte Wilson has requested prayers for 4 month old Benjamin Keefover who was born with a hole in his heart. Benjamin is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, January 31st in Philadelphia.

Joe Adams (Darrell Conaway’s cousin’s husband) is dealing with prostate cancer and is in need of our prayers.

Keep the family of Joe Cook in your prayers. Joe, preacher for the Lord’s church in Washington State, passed away unexpectedly and leaves behind two girls (12 & 14). Joe was brother to Rick & Randy Cook. A memorial service will be held in Joe’s honor Saturday, February 11th at the Oakhurst church.

Marvin Linn (Tanya Robe’s father) has been diagnosed with colon cancer.

Gabriel Anderson had gallbladder surgery this past Thursday at Mon General hospital.

Pearl Gooden is recovering from hernia surgery.

Rob Pugh’s father (David Pugh) had Cardio-Ablasion surgery and might have to have a pace maker installed.

Andy Shreve’s step father (Scott McPeek) was life-flighted to Ruby hospital this past Wednesday after suffering another stroke.

Bud Eddy, uncle of Kim Osborne and Lynn Clelland, has four blockage and will be having open heart surgery at Mon General.

Betty Jean Graves, Kenny's sister-in-law's sister, needs prayers.

Alice Swick had vocal cord surgery. She will have another one in the near future.

Gene Stevens will be having cataract surgery. Keep him in your prayers at this time.

Jay Argabrite will be going through a stem cell procedure in the near future.

Prayers are requested for Dave and Holly White. Dave and Holly are now foster parents for Kris, a 10 year old young man hopefully you’ll get to meet today!

From Andy Shreves on Thursday, "Thank You all for all the Prayers. My step-father has just passed on — at Ruby Memorial Hospital". Melissa Fox had a stress test done this past Wednesday. Everything appears to be okay, but we ask that you keep Melissa in your prayers.

Prayers are requested for Bud Eddy. Bud made it through his heart procedure successfully, but now is facing cancer treatments.
