Whitehall Nursery School

The Whitehall Nursery School (WNS) was established in 1971 as a result of a desire to serve the children and young families in the Fairmont area. WNS is a ministry of the Whitehall Church of Christ. The school meets in the lower level of the church building, which is located on Route 250 South and Apple Valley Road, approximately two miles from the South Fairmont exit off I-79 (Exit 132).

The school’s curriculum includes kindergarten readiness skills such as learning and writing the alphabet, spelling and writing their name, colors, shapes, phonics, show & tell, library, computer, Bible stories, snacks, playtime, developing large and fine motor skills, art, singing and much more. Parents are welcome to visit at any time and tours of the facilities can be easily arranged.

Each year also includes special event such as a Field Trip each semester, Seasonal Parties, a Thanksgiving Feast, which is a full lunch shared by the children and their parents, Year-End Picnic for the three year olds, and a Graduation Ceremony for the four year olds.
