To the White Hall Church of Christ website!
We are a family of obedient believers in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the faithful. We are bound together by the grace of God and united under the authority of the inspired teachings of the Bible. Together, we seek to honor Jesus with the praise of our hearts, our words, and our actions, and to act as His voice, His hands and His feet in serving others and one another. We seek to accomplish these tasks in our homes, in the church, in our neighborhoods, in our city, and around the world as God gives us opportunity.
To fulfill this vision, we are organized according to Scripture with elders as spiritual shepherds for the congregation, and deacons as ministers for various specific needs of the congregation.
Our doors are always open.
Our hearts are open, too.

WORK PARTY AT KEVIN'S - 9:00 AM SATURDAY
Gentlemen— There is a sign up sheet located on the back table in the auditorium. Jerry Summers (one of our elders) is raising funds to go to India this coming February. SIBI classes: Tuesday evenings @ 6:30 pm. LIFE Groups have started up again. Elders & Preacher meeting Sunday, November 22 @ 4:00 pm.
There will be an open house gathering at the Marion County Technical Center on Thursday, December 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. All those interested in attending this event need to call (304) 986-3590 to RSVP your reservation. Questions: See Randy Pheasant.
PLEASE place your name in one of the slots indicating how you would like to help in the Sunday evening prayer service!
He will need to raise $5,000.00 for the trip. If you can contribute, please see Jerry.

THE GIVING TREE
"There is a "Giving Tree" on the wall in the foyer next to the library. On the tree are apples with items on them that are needed to make Thanksgiving baskets for needy families and our shut ins. When you choose an apple, remove the red one and write your name on the yellow apple underneath so that we can keep track of who is bringing in items. If you choose perishable items, such as bananas or turkey, please bring those in the day of the get together so that they will be fresh. If you are bringing in canned items, please place them in the box beside the tree. We will be having a get together on Saturday, November 21st at 6:00 PM in the fellowship hall to make these baskets. Please bring finger food and join in the fun and fellowhip and help out with this activity. All items need to be in by Wednesday, November 18th, except for the perishable items. If you have any questions, please see Dale Lee, Matt Tonkery or Dianne Tonkery."

Please pray for my neice Jamie Witherell, her 5 yr old son Justin was run over and killed by a tractor today (Thursday).
Would you also pray for our trip, we are going to drive to Montana tomorrow. There are 6 of us going so we are driving straight through, worried about weather because they always have snow.

Betty M. Gallagher, died Wednesday evening, November 18, 2009, in the Fairmont (WV) General Hospital. She was 85.

The boys range in age from 10-17 years old. Currently, 5 Life scouts, 7 boys below 1st Class scouts and 2 boys working on their Eagle projects. We are making plans to ride on a railroad, attend BSA camp in July, a backpack trip and a sport outing.
During the past few months Troop 8 has cleaned the fellowship hall after the sweets for your sweetheart event as a service project, went swimming, participated in the Scout O Rama, went snow tubing, and rode a mountain coaster ride. They have also worked on merit badges and completed tasks toward their next rank.
