Welcome to WV Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG)!
WV GIG, in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics at Marshall University School of Medicine, Huntington, WV, is a non-profit organization offering support to people in the Tri State area diagnosed with celiac disease. We are a branch of the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America.

The 2009 Making Tracks for Celiac walk will be Sunday, August 30th, at Ritter Park in Huntington, with a pig roast, poker walk, and inflatables for the entire family! More information is posted on the links in the top left hand corner. Mark your calendars now!
Come hungry to the Making Tracks for Celiac walk, in addition to the pig roast with gf side dishes, including buns, Outback will be serving the brownie portion of their brownie thunder from down under, and Unos is providing samples of their gluten free pizza, as well as Kinkinnick gluten free cake for dessert!
Prometheus has generously donated 200 screenings for celiac. We will be offering these to family members of people diagnosed with celiac, those with IBS and other autoimmune diseases. The date will be in Oct. 10th at Cabell Huntington.
We will have our next support group meeting Sat., July 18th, at 1:00 at Healthy Life in Barboursville. Come enjoy gf chicken and dumplings and visit with other people facing the same issues you are.
