Casper's Ambassadors of Song

The Children's Chorale was founded in 1979 with the goal of providing a positive and challenging music experience for singers in the fourth through eighth grades. Over 200 singers audition for the 80 voice chorus, which rehearses weekly September through May, preparing songs in diverse styles and languages. The Chorale has appeared by invitation at state, regional, and national MENC and ACDA Conventions, and has earned consistent gold awards at Heritage Festivals in the United States and Canada.

Choral Builds Character

CHORUS AMERICA – Study Finds Positive Benefits of Choruses
and Choral Singing for Children, Adults, and Communities
That’s good news because singing in one of the 270,000 choruses in the U.S., such as a community chorus or a school or church choir, is strongly correlated with qualities that are associated with success throughout life, the study finds. Greater civic involvement, discipline, and teamwork are just a few of the attributes fostered by singing with a choral ensemble.
